I Am a Human — And I Destroy Everything I Touch

A brutal reflection of today’s selfish mindset

I am a human.

And I believe everything on this planet is mine.
The trees? Mine.
The oceans? Mine.
The animals? They exist for me — to entertain me, feed me, or be used by me.
This Earth belongs to me. That’s what I’ve come to believe.

Because somewhere along the way, I forgot that I share this planet —
With creatures who feel, with forests that breathe, with oceans that pulse like a heartbeat.

But I don’t care.
Not anymore.

🌳 I Cut Trees Because I Need Paper, Furniture, Land — Not Because I Respect Life

Forests? I see them as land for my buildings.
Wood for my tables.
Paper for my documents.

I don’t see the birds who nest there.
I don’t see the tigers who walk silently in the shadows.
I only see opportunity.

If thousands of trees fall so I can build a mall or a colony — so be it.
Let the monkeys lose their homes.
Let the elephants roam confused on highways.
As long as I profit, it’s okay.

🐾 Animals Are Just Tools To Me — Toys to Use and Throw

Dogs? They’re cute when they’re puppies.
But if they grow up on the street, I won’t feed them.
I’ll avoid them, maybe even throw a stone if they come close.

Cows? I’ll worship them one day… and ignore them the next.
Let them eat plastic and roam the roads.
Why should I care?

Cats, goats, wild deer, rabbits, even sea turtles —
They're all just background in my world.
I’ll eat them, wear them, sell them, cage them.
Because I can.

I forget they feel pain.
I forget they cry.
I forget they exist for their own reasons — not mine.

πŸ‹ Even the Deep Ocean is Not Safe From My Greed

The ocean is filled with life, beauty, mystery.

But to me? It’s a garbage bin.
I throw plastic in it.
I dump oil in it.
I fish until there’s nothing left.

Whales wash ashore with bellies full of plastic bags.
Turtles choke on straws.
Coral reefs bleach and die.

And I say, “So what? I need my shampoo, my packaging, my convenience.”
Because I come first.

πŸ‘€ Even Other Humans Are Disposable in My Race for Power

If someone is poorer than me, I ignore them.
If they’re weaker, I step on them.
If they have something I want, I lie, cheat, or steal.

I’ll judge a person by their clothes, their accent, their caste, their country.
I’ll spread hate if it benefits me.
I’ll pretend I’m better, more deserving — because I’m “civilized.”

But what is civilization that forgets compassion?

🧠 I Think I’m the Smartest Species — But I’ve Lost Common Sense

I build rockets to Mars while people starve on Earth.
I invent new gadgets every month but forget to teach kindness.
I talk of development while forests burn and rivers run dry.

I call animals “dumb” — but they don’t destroy their own homes.
I call nature “wild” — but I am the one who’s out of control.

I worship money.
I bow to power.
I serve my ego.

πŸͺž The Truth Is: I’m Not the Owner. I’m Just a Guest.

This planet does not belong to me.
It belongs to us — to every creature, every tree, every drop of water.

But I act like a king.

I take, I destroy, I waste —
And I never stop to ask: “At what cost?”

🐾 Look Around: The Signs Are Screaming

  • Stray dogs dying of hunger and heat

  • Cows eating plastic on the roadside

  • Birds disappearing from cities

  • Rivers turning black with pollution

  • Ice melting in the poles

  • Wild animals walking into villages, lost and confused

These are not accidents.
These are consequences.

Of my greed.
Of my belief that I am the center of the universe.

πŸ”₯ If This Is What Being Human Means — Then We Have Failed

What happened to being human?
To feeling empathy?
To protecting the weak?
To sharing space?

When did we become so heartless that we look into the eyes of a hungry animal and walk away?

When did we start thinking that God created this beautiful Earth only for our comfort?

πŸ’ It’s Time for a Reality Check

If this blog makes you uncomfortable, good.
Because it should.

This is the voice of millions of people today.
They may not say it aloud, but they live it:
"The Earth is mine."
"Everything here exists for me."
"I don’t care who gets hurt."
"Animals are just food, or fun, or waste."

But that mindset is a lie.

We are not rulers.
We are not gods.
We are not alone.

🌱 There Is Another Way — A Kinder, Wiser Way

We can still change.
We can still protect what’s left.

Feed a stray dog.
Plant a tree.
Speak kindly.
Reduce waste.
Support animal shelters.
Educate others.

Because being truly human is not about power —
It’s about compassion.

πŸ™ In the End…

The Earth is not mine.
It is ours.
And we either learn to live together — or we all lose.
